My Approach
I am trained in integrative counselling, an approach which brings together different theories and techniques, which I tailor to the needs of the client. I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to the work, and I aim to meet each client with empathy, curiosity and respect for their unique lived experience. My approach is gentle yet purposeful, supporting clients to develop greater self-awareness, resilience and meaningful change.
Following time working across various industries including publishing, travel, and educational pastoral support, I undertook training as a counsellor and have since been working with individuals across a spectrum of scenarios and needs. I am committed to providing a calm, non-judgemental space where clients can feel heard and supported.
Outside of my clinical work, I value spending time outdoors and find walking and running an important way to stay grounded and connected. I enjoy family time and the rhythms of everyday life, and more recently have been tasked with the challenges and joys of puppy training. These experiences help me maintain balance and perspective, which supports my work as a therapist.
