Kate Roberts Acupuncturist BSC(Hons) LicAc MBAcC DipPaed DipObsGyn
Hi, I’m Kate, an experienced acupuncturist dedicated to helping people improve their physical health and mental-emotional wellbeing. I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in 2010, one of the most respected acupuncture colleges in the UK.
Acupuncture to Feel Better in Yourself
I practise an integrated style of acupuncture, combining Five Element Constitutional Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). I take time to carefully listen to my patients and tailor treatments to each individual.
I treat a wide range of health concerns, including chronic pain, with a particular interest in women’s health, anxiety, headaches, IBS, low mood and stress-related conditions. Many patients also come regularly for preventive treatment to support immunity and optimise overall health.
I hold a postgraduate diploma in acupuncture for gynaecology, fertility, and obstetrics. I’m trained in Dr Tan’s Balance Method for musculoskeletal issues.
My Approach to Acupuncture
Alongside specialist skills such as pulse and tongue diagnosis, tuina massage, gua sha, cupping and moxibustion, I may also provide lifestyle and dietary advice.
To complement my acupuncture practice, I hold qualifications in counselling studies and, through my volunteer work with Cruse, have bereavement support training.
As a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the largest professional body for traditional acupuncture in the UK, I adhere to the highest standards of professional conduct and safe practice.
Acupuncture for Children
I have a diploma in paediatric acupuncture and offer gentle, child-friendly techniques such as Shonishin, a non-needling Japanese acupuncture method.
Beyond the Clinic
Before studying acupuncture, I worked in marketing in London and later lived in France, where I renovated a property.
Acupuncture and the wisdom of Chinese medicine have been part of maintaining my own health for many years, which inspired me to train in this fascinating holistic medicine.
Weekends are spent with my family and two teenage children.
I am available at the Chipping Norton clinic and would be happy to support you.
If you're looking for expert acupuncture treatment to support your health and well-being, I’d love to help.
I am available at the Chipping Norton clinic on Wednesdays & Fridays.
