Kate Roberts BSC(Hons) LicAc MBAcC DipPaed
Kate graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, one of the leading acupuncture institutions in the UK in 2010. She earned a BSc (Hons) Degree in Acupuncture and license to practice and is qualified to treat both adults and children.
Kate values the ability of acupuncture to help enhance mental, emotional and physical well-being. She integrates both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element Acupuncture styles to address a broad range of conditions. Kate emphasizes the simplicity and efficacy of Five Element Acupuncture, utilizing it to bolster the emotional and spiritual well-being of her patients to help them attain better balance in their lives.
In her practice she gives diet and lifestyle recommendations as needed and uses other TCM techniques such as tuina massage and moxibustion. She has training in Dr Tan balance method for musculoskeletal conditions and post graduate training in women’s health including fertility, pregnancy and menopause. She has a particular interest in headaches, IBS and stress-related conditions.
Before pursuing acupuncture, Kate gained a degree in business studies and worked in marketing in London. Later, she lived in France where she renovated a property before training as an acupuncturist, inspired by her positive experiences with acupuncture and its impact on her health.
Kate is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), reflecting her commitment to upholding safety standards and professional ethics in her practice. She offers child-friendly non-needling techniques such as Shonishin having completed her Diploma in Paediatric Acupuncture in 2023. Additionally, she holds qualifications in counseling studies and has undergone training in bereavement support.
