Michi Naomoto BSc (Hons) Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine

Hi, I’m Michi, an acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner with a passion for helping people find relief from pain and restore balance in their bodies. Originally from Japan, I graduated in 2003 with a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine and began my practice in London before settling in West Oxfordshire, where I’ve built a thriving clinic specialising in musculoskeletal conditions and pain management.

My Approach to Treatment
I use a range of traditional techniques, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, and both Chinese and Japanese styles of massage, to create personalised treatment plans for my clients. My focus is on treating pain caused by musculoskeletal dysfunctions, helping people move more freely and live more comfortably.

Teaching & Mentorship
Beyond my clinical work, I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge with others. I’m a co-founder of the White Crane Academy of Chinese Herbal Medicine, where I teach and mentor students from around the world, as well as co-founder of Acuherb Academy, an online teaching platform dedicated to acupuncture and herbal medicine.

Beyond the Clinic
When I’m not treating patients or teaching, I love running, practicing yoga, cooking Japanese food, and getting lost in a good book.

If you’re looking for expert acupuncture and Chinese medicine treatment to ease pain and restore balance, I’d love to help.

I am available at the Chipping Norton clinic
Michi is everything you’d want in a practitioner: deeply knowledgeable, always responsive, intuitive and compassionate. She is also practical, down to earth and realistic. I highly recommend her.
M.M.
I really enjoy my sessions with Michi. She always listens carefully and then tailors her treatment to my specific needs. She is thorough in her work and is a very compassionate person.
